Héctor Luis Delgado Román is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer and record producer, formerly known as Héctor "El Father" and Hector "El Bambino". After his retirement, he received a theological degree from Southern Methodist University and spent his life preaching the Christian faith in his native Puerto Rico. In his recent work as a preacher, he touched many lives, prompting many rappers to follow in his footsteps, most notably his companions Tito el Bambino and Almighty. The trio changed the outlook for rappers in Puerto Rico and beyond forever. He was also very good at linguistics, coined terms like "calenturri" and "amensurri", as well as phrases like "sácala, dale úsala". He announced his retirement in 2008, but his parting concert series lasted until May 2010. He emerged as a member of the Héctor & Tito duo. As a producer, Delgado has worked with several reggaeton manufacturers, as well as with Emilio Estefan.
