Dr. Paul Guidera is a Reconstructive Hand & Wrist Surgeon in Phoenix, AZ . He serves as medical officer in the National Disaster Medical System with New Mexico DMAT and has worked in both national and international disaster sites. He served in the United States Navy, retiring as Commander.

He has privileges at Dignity Health St Joseph's Medical Center, Banner Gateway Medical Center, HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea/Shea Medical Centers and Oasis Hospital.

He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine and has been in practice for 26 years.

He has decades of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of workplace injuries and is frequently called upon to consult on difficult injury case management. He is experienced in complex secondary reconstructive surgery, peripheral nerve microsurgery, revision hand & wrist surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, fracture care and reconstructive microvascular surgery. He is a frequent speaker in the Arizona Workers Compensation community and is often asked to consult on causation issues.
